Efraín Vera
Mexican-born artist with years of experience working creatively with my hands. My journey began in my early college days as a photographer, where I earned recognition through awards and participated in several group exhibitions in Mérida, México. Later, I joined the team at the Anthropology and History Museum as an exhibit designer. It was during this time that I discovered a deep interest in pottery—a passion that has stayed with me ever since.
Today, I create from a place of joy, remembrance, and a profound love for the culture that has deeply shaped my life. My work centers on sculpture, often inspired by movement, emotion, and the playful essence of childhood memories. I also enjoy illustrating from time to time, and I find that both practices are beautifully interconnected.
